Research Interests:
1) The dynamic regulation of DNA methylation, as well as its cross-talk with other epigenetic mechanisms.
2) Epigenetic mechnisms in development, reprogramming and transdifferentiation.
3) Applying epigenomic technologies to understand human diseases, in the hope of finding novel epigenetic targets for drug discovery.
4) Technology development in epigenomics, especially at the single-cell level by combining next-generation sequencing and microfluidics.
